L’OLIMPIONICO SIMONE CONSONNI AI GP INTERNAZIONALI DI FIORENZUOLA

Fiorenzuola d’Arda (PC), 11/07/2026 – A Tokyo si è laureato campione olimpico nell’Inseguimento a squadre, mentre a Parigi ha conquistato il bronzo nella stessa disciplina e l’argento nella Madison: il nome di Simone Consonni impreziosisce ulteriormente l’elenco iscritti dei Gran Premi Internazionali di Fiorenzuola – 6 Giorni delle Rose bianche, in programma dal 20 al 25 luglio al Velodromo “Attilio Pavesi”.

Il bergamasco classe 1994 (professionista con la Lidl-Trek) ha un palmarès con anche numerosi titoli e medaglie ai Campionati del Mondo e d’Europa, oltre a diverse vittorie e podi a Fiorenzuola in passato.

OLYMPIC CHAMPION SIMONE CONSONNI TO COMPETE AT THE FIORENZUOLA INTERNATIONAL TRACK GRAND PRIX

Fiorenzuola d'Arda (Italy), July 11, 2026 – Simone Consonni, Olympic champion in the Team Pursuit at the Tokyo Olympic Games and winner of a bronze medal in the same event and a silver medal in the Madison at Paris 2024, is among the riders entered for the Fiorenzuola International Track Grand Prix – 6 Giorni delle Rose Bianche, taking place from July 20 to 25 at the "Attilio Pavesi" Velodrome.

Born in 1994 and racing professionally for Lidl-Trek, the Bergamo native has also won numerous medals and titles at the UCI Track World Championships and European Championships, in addition to collecting several victories and podium finishes in previous editions of the Fiorenzuola meeting.

Simone will be joined in Fiorenzuola by his sister Chiara Consonni, whose entry has already been announced. The Paris 2024 Olympic Madison champion will be one of the most eagerly anticipated riders in the women's events.
