I NUOVI CAMPIONI EUROPEI AZZURRI ARRIVANO A FIORENZUOLA

Fiorenzuola d'Arda (PC), 15/07/2026 – L'Italia ha chiuso al primo posto il medagliere dei Campionati Europei Juniores e Under 23 di Cottbus. E molti dei giovani azzurri protagonisti della rassegna continentale saranno ora impegnati ai Gran Premi Internazionali di Fiorenzuola – 6 Giorni delle Rose bianche, in programma dal 20 al 25 luglio al Velodromo "Attilio Pavesi".

Tra gli iscritti figurano il doppio campione europeo Under 23 Renato Favero (Inseguimento individuale e a squadre), Mattia Predomo, oro nella Velocità individuale e nella Velocità a squadre Under 23, Matteo Fiorin, vincitore dell'Eliminazione e dell'Inseguimento a squadre, oltre ai campioni europei della Velocità a squadre Fabio Del Medico, Stefano Minuta e Thomas Melotto. Saranno in pista anche Christian Fantini, Etienne Grimod e Ares Costa, vincitori dell'oro nell'Inseguimento a squadre, Davide Stella, argento nell'Omnium, Anita Baima, argento nell'Eliminazione e bronzo nella Velocità a squadre, e Matilde Cenci e Siria Trevisan, bronzo nella Velocità a squadre.

ITALY'S NEW EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS ARE HEADING TO FIORENZUOLA

Fiorenzuola d'Arda (Italy), July 15, 2026 – Italy topped the medal table at the 2026 UEC Junior & Under-23 Track European Championships in Cottbus. Many of the young Italian riders who starred at the continental championships will now compete at the Fiorenzuola International Track Grand Prix – 6 Giorni delle Rose Bianche, taking place from July 20 to 25 at the Attilio Pavesi Velodrome.
Among the entries are Renato Favero, double Under-23 European champion in the Individual and Team Pursuit, Mattia Predomo, winner of the Under-23 Sprint and Team Sprint titles, and Matteo Fiorin, who claimed gold in the Elimination Race and Team Pursuit. Also entered are Team Sprint European champions Fabio Del Medico, Stefano Minuta and Thomas Melotto.
Also racing in Fiorenzuola will be Christian Fantini, Etienne Grimod and Ares Costa, members of the gold medal-winning Team Pursuit squad, Davide Stella, silver medallist in the Omnium, Anita Baima, silver medallist in the Elimination Race and bronze medallist in the Team Sprint, and Matilde Cenci and Siria Trevisan, bronze medallists in the Team Sprint.
