Fiorenzuola d’Arda (PC), 05/08/2025 - La penultima serata dei Gran Premi Internazionali di Fiorenzuola – 6 Giorni delle Rose Bianche ha regalato emozioni e spettacolo, con il pubblico accorso numeroso al Velodromo “Attilio Pavesi”. L’Italia ha brillato ancora una volta grazie all’olimpionica Chiara Consonni e a Martina Fidanza, che hanno conquistato un’entusiasmante americana. E poi con Matteo Fiorin, primo nell’Eliminazione Elite.

AMERICANA DONNE ELITE GP SIDERPIGHI – CONSONNI-FIDANZA ALL’ULTIMO SPRINT!
Chiara Consonni e Martina Fidanza hanno conquistato l’Americana femminile Elite (Gran Premio Siderpighi), firmando una prova magistrale. Dopo un lungo duello con le tedesche Lea Lin Teutenberg e Messane Bräutigam, le azzurre hanno piazzato l’affondo decisivo nell’ultima volata, grazie a una straordinaria progressione di Fidanza che ha fruttato 10 punti d’oro. Con 32 punti totali, hanno preceduto le tedesche (29) e la coppia Valeriya Valgonen–Polina Danshina (16).

SCRATCH MASCHILE ELITE GP PADANA IMPIANTI – WALSH VINCE IN VOLATA
L’australiano Liam Walsh ha trionfato nello Scratch Elite (Gran Premio Padana Impianti), regolando in volata un gruppo ricco di nomi importanti. Ha preceduto il campione del mondo Kazushige Kuboki, che ha dovuto accontentarsi della seconda piazza. Terzo l’azzurro Matteo Fiorin, già protagonista a livello giovanile, che ha confermato il suo talento anche tra gli Elite. Una gara combattuta, decisa solo nelle ultime curve.

ELIMINAZIONE MASCHILE ELITE GP PAVINORD – FIORIN HA COMPLETATO LA FESTA
Matteo Fiorin ha chiuso in bellezza la serata, vincendo l’Eliminazione maschile Elite (Gran Premio Pavinord). Dopo il terzo posto nello Scratch, il giovane azzurro ha gestito al meglio ogni fase della corsa, imponendosi nel testa a testa finale contro Kazushige Kuboki, che ha collezionato il secondo argento della serata. Sul podio anche Ilya Savekin. Fiorin ha confermato con questa doppietta il suo grande stato di forma.

CORSA A PUNTI ESORDIENTI COPPA ROTARY FIORENZUOLA – VITTORIA DI PIETRO SAVERI
Ha aperto il programma la Corsa a punti Esordienti (Coppa Rotary Club Fiorenzuola), dove Pietro Saveri (Torrile) ha avuto la meglio su Luca Gregori (Velo Club Cremonese) al termine di una prova ben gestita. Gregori, originario di Caorso, ha provato a rispondere agli attacchi ma ha dovuto accontentarsi del secondo posto. Terzo Pietro Bonini (Ronco Maurigi), che ha completato un podio tutto emiliano e di ottimo livello tecnico.

Domani, mercoledì 6 agosto, gran finale della manifestazione con Allievin maschi e femmine in pista nel tardo pomeriggio, poi dalle 20, una “gara” di Giovanissimi, il Gp Assiprime, che colorerà il Velodromo in attesa delle due grandi corse finali: la corsa a punti Donne Elite, valida come Gp BFT Memorial Alberto Burzoni, e l’americana Uomini Elite – Gp Siderpighi.

Fidanza-Consonni win the Madison, Matteo Fiorin takes the Men’s Elimination

Fiorenzuola d’Arda (Italy), 05/08/2025 – The penultimate evening of the Gran Premi Internazionali di Fiorenzuola – 6 Giorni delle Rose Bianche delivered great excitement and spectacle, with a large crowd filling the “Attilio Pavesi” Velodrome. Italy shone once again, thanks to Olympic champion Chiara Consonni and Martina Fidanza, who won a thrilling Madison, and Matteo Fiorin, who topped the Men’s Elimination.

WOMEN’S ELITE MADISON – GP SIDERPIGHI – CONSONNI-FIDANZA STRIKE IN FINAL SPRINT!
Chiara Consonni and Martina Fidanza claimed victory in the Women’s Elite Madison (Gran Premio Siderpighi) with a masterful performance. After a long and hard-fought battle with Germans Lea Lin Teutenberg and Messane Bräutigam, the Italian pair delivered the decisive blow in the final sprint, thanks to an extraordinary effort from Fidanza that earned 10 golden points. With 32 points, they finished ahead of the Germans (29), and the duo Valeriya Valgonen–Polina Danshina (16).

MEN’S ELITE SCRATCH – GP PADANA IMPIANTI – WALSH WINS IN THE SPRINT
Australian Liam Walsh triumphed in the Men’s Elite Scratch (Gran Premio Padana Impianti), prevailing in the final sprint of a tightly contested race. He beat world champion Kazushige Kuboki, who had to settle for second place. Third was Italy’s Matteo Fiorin, a standout in the junior ranks, who confirmed his ability at Elite level with a strong finish. The race was fiercely competitive and decided in the final laps.

MEN’S ELITE ELIMINATION – GP PAVINORD – FIORIN SEALS THE NIGHT
Matteo Fiorin closed out the evening in style by winning the Men’s Elite Elimination (Gran Premio Pavinord). After finishing third in the Scratch, the young Italian managed the race with confidence, eventually outdueling Kazushige Kuboki in the final showdown – giving the Japanese rider his second silver of the night. Ilya Savekin also reached the podium. With this double podium, Fiorin confirmed his excellent form.

ESORDIENTI POINTS RACE – COPPA ROTARY FIORENZUOLA – SAVERI CLAIMS VICTORY
The evening opened with the Esordienti Points Race (Coppa Rotary Club Fiorenzuola), where Pietro Saveri (Torrile) came out on top with a well-controlled effort. Luca Gregori (Velo Club Cremonese), from Caorso, tried to respond in the final sprints but had to settle for second place. Pietro Bonini (Ronco Maurigi) rounded out an all-Emilian podium of very high technical level.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 6 August, the event will conclude with the grand finale: racing starts in the late afternoon with Boys and Girls in the Allievi category. At 8 PM, the Gp Assiprime – a fun event for the youngest riders – will bring colour and energy to the velodrome before the two big final races: the Women’s Elite Points Race (Gp BFT Memorial Alberto Burzoni) and the Men’s Elite Madison (Gp Siderpighi).
