DOMANI AL VELODROMO “PAVESI” SCATTANO I GP INTERNAZIONALI DI FIORENZUOLA - 6 GIORNI DELLE ROSE BIANCHE 2026

Fino a sabato saranno assegnati 22 Gran Premi Internazionali Uci, con in palio punti preziosi per i ranking da cui dipende la qualificazione a Mondiali e Olimpiadi.

Quasi 180 gli atleti e le atlete provenienti da 28 nazioni, in rappresentanza di tutti i continenti. Al via campioni olimpici, iridati ed europei, con tanti dei migliori giovani del panorama mondiale, pronti a sfidarsi nelle specialità di endurance e velocità.
Ad aprire la lista delle iscritte sono le campionesse olimpiche della Madison Chiara Consonni e Vittoria Guazzini, alle quali sono stati assegnati i numeri 1 e 2. Numero 1 fra gli uomini a Simone Consonni, tre volte medagliato ai Giochi.

La serata inaugurale di domani scatterà con quattro prove Under 23 maschili e femminili e con il ritorno delle gare Elite di Keirin e Velocità.
Ad arricchire l'apertura della manifestazione sarà anche l'esibizione del Corpo Bandistico Pontolliese con Majorettes.

THE FIORENZUOLA INTERNATIONAL TRACK GRAND PRIX – 6 GIORNI DELLE ROSE BIANCHE 2026 GETS UNDERWAY TOMORROW AT THE "ATTILIO PAVESI" VELODROME

Fiorenzuola d'Arda (Italy), July 19, 2026 – The wait is over. Starting tomorrow, Monday, July 20, the Attilio Pavesi Velodrome will host the 29th Fiorenzuola International Track Grand Prix – 6 Giorni delle Rose Bianche, one of the most prestigious events on the international track cycling calendar. Through Saturday, 22 UCI International Grand Prix events will be contested, offering valuable ranking points towards qualification for the UCI World Championships and the Olympic Games.

Nearly 180 riders from 28 nations, representing all continents, will line up at the start. Olympic, World and European champions will compete alongside many of the world's most promising young talents in both endurance and sprint disciplines.

Heading the women's entry list are Olympic Madison champions Chiara Consonni and Vittoria Guazzini, who have been assigned race numbers 1 and 2 respectively. Race number 1 in the men's field goes to Simone Consonni, a three-time Olympic medallist.

Tomorrow's opening session will feature four men's and women's Under-23 events, together with the return of Elite Keirin and Sprint competitions to the Fiorenzuola programme.

The opening evening will also be enhanced by performances from the Corpo Bandistico Pontolliese and its Majorettes.
