6 GIORNI DELLE ROSE, IN PISTA LE STELLE DELLE NAZIONALI FEMMINILI DI NUOVA ZELANDA E GERMANIA

Fiorenzuola d’Arda (PC), 11/07/2025 - Nelle gare femminili dei Gran Premi Internazionali di Fiorenzuola - 6 Giorni delle Rose bianche, in programma dall’1 al 6 agosto, riflettori puntati anche su Nuova Zelanda e Germania, due delle nazionali più forti del panorama internazionale, attese protagoniste al Velodromo “Attilio Pavesi”, dove già in passato hanno dato spettacolo.

La Nuova Zelanda arriva con grandi ambizioni e atlete di livello assoluto, a partire da Bryony Botha ed Emily Shearman, fresche medaglie d’argento alle Olimpiadi di Parigi 2024 nell’inseguimento a squadre. Con loro, anche Rylee McMullen e Samantha Donnelly, per un quartetto che punta in alto e che fa della compattezza il proprio punto di forza.
La Germania risponde con un’altra formazione di primissimo piano, guidata da Franziska Brausse, oro olimpico a Tokyo 2020 sempre nell’inseguimento a squadre, e due volte campionessa del mondo, l’ultima nell’inseguimento individuale nel 2022. Al suo fianco Lea Lin Teutenberg (classe 1999) e le giovani promesse Pia Grünewald (2004) e Messane Bräutigam (2005), già protagoniste nei campionati europei junior.

Fiorenzuola d’Arda (PC), 11/07/2025 – At the women’s events of the Gran Premi Internazionali di Fiorenzuola – 6 Giorni delle Rose Bianche, scheduled from August 1 to 6, the spotlight will be on two of the strongest national teams in international track cycling: New Zealand and Germany, both set to be key players at the “Attilio Pavesi” Velodrome, where they have already thrilled spectators in the past.

New Zealand arrives with high ambitions and top-level riders, starting with Bryony Botha and Emily Shearman, fresh off their silver medal performance in the team pursuit at the Paris 2024 Olympics. They will be joined by Rylee McMullen and Samantha Donnelly, forming a strong and cohesive quartet aiming for top results.

Germany, on the other hand, will field another top-tier lineup, led by Franziska Brausse, Olympic gold medalist in the team pursuit at Tokyo 2020 and two-time world champion, most recently in the individual pursuit in 2022. Alongside her will be Lea Lin Teutenberg (born in 1999) and two of the country’s most promising young talents: Pia Grünewald (2004) and Messane Bräutigam (2005), who have already made a mark at the junior European championships.
